Author Description:
In Islam, the concept of purity is highly valued and significantly influences a Muslim's life. One of the most effective ways to achieve this purity is through prayer. The primary goal of this book is to introduce both Muslims and non-Muslims to the concept of purity (Taharah). The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), said, “Purification is half of faith.” This book will assist you in understanding and learning the rulings on purity in the light of the Holy Qur’an and authentic Hadiths.

I have deliberately avoided any weak Hadiths, focusing instead on the teachings and opinions of both earlier and contemporary scholars, including His Eminence Shaikh Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Bin Baz, Muhammad Bin Saleh Al-Uthaymeen, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Abdur-Rahman Al-Jibreen, and Saleh Bin Ganim Al-Sadlan (may Allah have mercy on them), as well as Shaikh Saleh Al-Fawzan (May Allah protect him).

One of the advantages of this book is its comprehensive coverage of the concept of purity in Islam and the scientific and medical aspects of miracles. I have tried to provide full Isnād (chain of narration) for most Prophetic Hadiths. Additionally, I have gathered Fatawa (legal opinions) related to purity in general and specifically regarding the purity of travellers.

These Fatawa are placed at the end of the book for easy access by readers. The book is divided into twelve chapters, including a new chapter dedicated to the purity of couples. This work is considered an invaluable resource, especially for students of knowledge. It contains approximately 107 English and Arabic references, most of which are drawn from the highest scholarly sources.
